Molecules in the Early Universe

A discussion will be given of the mechanisms involved in the formation
and destruction of molecules and their possible detection in the early
universe and in the first cosmological objects. There have been several
calculations of the molecular abundance as functions of the red shift with
some differences. New results will be presented and the differences resolved.
